PEOPLE BEHIND URA WATCHES

We are Fabio, Lovro and Ian, two watch enthusiasts and a designer from Osijek, Croatia, running a watch modification business since 2023. called EON Watches. We have specialized in customizing Casio, and our watch education and journey started there. Casio was the best place for us to start because we love the whole Casio vibe together as its simplicity. Now, after more than 2000 watches made and shipped worldwide, we have decided to make our first clock. It took more than a year designing and improving it. We named it Wallie and its main objective is to bring more joy when checking the time. Since we have now expanded our lineup, we chose URA Watches as our main brand name under which we offer mods (EON Watches), clocks (Wallie) and later we plan on designing and producing original automatic watches which will bear the URA name.

HOW WE STARTED

That’s a question we still hear often, even after almost 3 years of doing this. It started on the day we wanted to buy our own unique watches, but couldn't find what we really wanted. That is when we decided to get all the necessary equipment and make the watches ourselves. After that, our friends saw what we do and ordered their custom piece. We kept making new stuff we thought was interesting and our whole community grew along with us.

Something that started as a hobby became a full-time job for the two of us, and we got the opportunity to create something new and exciting. Lovro and I (Fabio) assemble personalized Casio watches. We acquire new watches, disassemble them to the smallest part and achieve a unique look using various techniques. In the watch world, this is called modification. After assembly, we test the watches, especially if they are filled with oil. We will keep innovating and pusthing the boundaries of custom watches.

CREATION OF WALLIE CLOCK

Since starting out, we always had passion for wall clocks and Wallie was in the planning since the beginning of our journey. Now that we learned a thing or two about watches, we finally launched this project. Main idea behind Wallie is to break the norm of how a clock should look like and bring a playful emotion to your living or working space.
